What is Cherry Tart?

Tart Robotics has launched a new version of an interactive robotics kit for elementary school students. Cherry Tart is meant to introduce kids and students to robotics and engineering, but it’s also meant as a tool for teaching STEM in general. It is a Lego®-compatible building block that offers an innovative sound activation method to make STEM projects interactive and livelier.

The set comes with a small controller and a single motor easily mountable on the most famous building blocks. The controller has a long-lasting rechargeable battery, a durable control button, and a microphone that impulses the motor by sound stimulations like clapping or banging on a table. With Cherry Tart, your projects will respond to you. All you need to do is to clap. The faster you clap, the faster your project walks, climbs, jumps, turns, or anything imaginable.
